Our new Practice Exam has about 110 questions, written in multiple choice format. In the past, LATC has told us that the exam will be a mix of short, fact-based questions and longer ‘scenario’ questions that describe a design situation and ask you to make professional judgements.
We have written these questions based on the CSE Test Plan, which is updated annually around October. We update all of our study materials at the beginning of each year, when the new test plan is available. The questions focus on California topics that are DIFFERENT than the federal standards you’ve already learned for the LARE.
